7-Day Morocco Highlights (Casablanca to Marrakech)
The Route: Casablanca → Chefchaouen → Fes → Merzouga (Sahara) → Dades Valley → Marrakech
Day 1: Casablanca to Chefchaouen — Tour Hassan II Mosque, then drive north into the Rif Mountains for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes — Morning exploring the blue streets and Spanish Mosque viewpoint; afternoon transfer to Fes.
Day 3: Fes to Sahara Desert (Merzouga) — Express morning tour of Fes medina (tanneries), drive through Middle Atlas forests, sunset camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 4: Sahara Desert to Dades Valley — Sunrise over the dunes, walk through Todra Gorge cliffs, overnight in the Dades gorges.
Day 5: Dades Valley to Marrakech — Visit UNESCO kasbah Ait Benhaddou, drive across the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka pass.
Day 6: Marrakech Exploration — Full day in the medina: Bahia Palace, souks, and evening at Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

7-Day Morocco Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Arrive in Casablanca and meet your private driver. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Explore the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum and Kasbah of the Udayas before driving north to the beautiful Blue City of Chefchaouen. Enjoy an evening walk through the blue-painted medina.
Overnight: Chefchaouen
Day 2 – Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes
Enjoy a morning in Chefchaouen to explore its charming blue streets, local shops and viewpoints. Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you can discover remarkably preserved mosaics and Roman architecture. Continue to Fes for the evening.

Day 3 – Fes Guided Tour
Spend the day discovering the cultural and historical heart of Morocco. Explore the Fes Medina, one of the largest medieval medinas in the world, including the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine area, Nejjarine Fountain, souks and traditional tanneries. Enjoy the atmosphere of this fascinating imperial city.
Overnight: Fes
Day 4 – Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Depart Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture, then continue through the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Drive through Midelt and enjoy spectacular scenery along the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga and the Sahara Desert.
Overnight: Merzouga Desert Camp
Day 5 – Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up to the sunrise over the Sahara before continuing to Rissani, famous for its traditional market and historic atmosphere. Travel through Erfoud and the dramatic landscapes of the desert region before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorges. Continue through the Valley of the Roses toward the beautiful Dades Valley.
Overnight: Dades Valley
Day 6 – Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, drive through the spectacular landscapes of southern Morocco. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, the famous fortified ksar and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and enjoy your first evening in the Red City.
Overnight: Marrakech
Day 7 – Marrakech – Casablanca
Enjoy some free time in Marrakech in the morning, with the opportunity to explore the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, souks and medina. Later, depart for Casablanca, where your 7-day Morocco journey comes to an end.
